The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the Laurens County Water and Sewer Commission yesterday afternoon where a report was filed on the theft of over $11,000 worth of metals from a warehouse. Various brass fittings and other metals valued at $11,456 were reportedly removed in June. Deputy Hodges obtained video evidence of the thefts, along with the identity of a suspect. The matter remained under investigation.
