A Laurens man is facing Bench Warrants from court and new charges the Sheriff’s Office following his arrest Saturday. 35-year-old Rhodrick Ladel Henderson of 747 Sullivan Street, Laurens is charged with Criminal Domestic Violence 2nd Offense for an alleged act on Saturday. Sheriff’s Lt. Jawarski Shelton alleges that Rhodrick Ladel Henderson caused or attempted to cause physical harm under circumstances that reasonably created fear of imminent peril to victim on Saturday. The warrant notes the defendant has a prior conviction for Criminal Domestic Violence.
Meanwhile, Henderson was served with a Bench Warrant from Magistrate’s Court issued this past April regarding a June 4th, 2012 conviction for Criminal Domestic Violence 1st charge with remaining sentence prorated to $265 or 15 days in jail.
Henderson was also served with a Family Court Bench Warrant from June of this year citing Failure to Appear and Failure to Pay Child Support.
Bond was set at $15,000 on the new Criminal Domestic Violence 2nd Offense charge. Rhodrick Henderson remained in the Laurens County Detention Center this morning.
