Items valued at over $5,000 were reported stolen from a residence on Lucas Street in the Wattsville area, in a report to the Sheriff’s Office around noon yesterday. A Western Laurens County resident said he came to check on the residence and found it had been broken into since his last visit September 21st. She said she had allowed others to store things at the house. Neighbors reported observing a female subject and others come to the residence and carry some two truck loads away. Windows of the home are broken and a rear window of a car at the house were knocked out. $700 in damages were noted to the house and car. Household items, vehicle parts, metals and other items valued at $5,125 were reported taken from the residence.
