Drug charges were served yesterday on a Clinton man arrested early in the morning with an outstanding warrant. 51-year-old Donald Everett Shealy of 85 Hopewell Church Road, Clinton was arrested in the early morning hours by Sheriff’s Cpl Nick Moye. A Warrant charging Shealy with Malicious Injury states that Shealy willfully and maliciously did damage of less than $1,000 to personal property by punching a hole in an air conditioner unit on Browning Avenue, Joanna on September 15th.
Meanwhile, additional charges were served yesterday in two more warrants obtained by Officer Moye. Donald Everett Shealy was accused of Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Warrants allege that Shealy was in possession of two tablets of a Schedule III controlled substance without authority and that he was also in possession of methamphetamine yesterday morning at this residence on 85 Hopewell Church Road.
During arraignment yesterday, bonds of $15,000 were set on each of the two drug charges along with a $1,092 bond on the initial warrant for Malicious Damage.
Donald Everett Shealy remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning with bonds totaling $31,092.
