A new logo was displayed at the Laurens County Memorial Hospital Tuesday evening as the local Hospital Board held its monthly meeting. Sally Foister from GHS Marketing gave background on selection of the new GHS logo. She said the new branding is to help consumers be less confused about what health care facilities are connected with Greenville Health System, noting the favorable image GHS has in many major national publications.
The logo features a distinct shade of green that will soon appear on everything from vehicles, signs, stationary to uniforms throughout the system.
The only variation will be the blue writing to distinguish the children’s hospital from the other facilities.
The budget for this branding came in at a little over a million dollars in marketing expense and five point five million dollars in capital budget for signage.
