The “Alive at 25” program in South Carolina held an annual banquet for 2013 last Thursday in Columbia. Among the recognitions for the Alive at 25 program in our state, the Outstanding Instructor of the Year for South Carolina award was presented to Lt. David Brewer of Laurens City Police.
The “Alive at 25”` program is now being offered at Laurens and ClintonHigh Schools. At the present time, it’s not mandatory at local schools, but it is at required as over 100 schools across the state. Over 50,000 high school students across the state have taken the “Alive at 25” course in the past seven years.
