Drugs Left Behind After “Bush Bond” Posted

Clinton Public Safety Lt. Cathy Anderson was on routine patrol traveling East on US 76 at 12:21 Saturday morning when he observed a westbound vehicle without headlights. As she turned around to follow the vehicle it reportedly sped forward then stopped abruptly. A driver, wearing a light-color zipped hoodie with blue jeans, got out of the vehicle and ran into nearby woods. A quantity of crack cocaine was found inside the vehicle.  Other officers proceeded to Clinton Manor, but no initial arrests were made.
