Man Joins His Sister Receiving “Stalking” Charges

Clinton Public Safety was dispatched to Lewis Street at 9:31 yesterday morning in reference to a possible break-in. A resident said someone had entered her home while she was at work the previous night. A window that was already broken reportedly had further damage. Nothing was initially noted as missing, but she said her bedroom and the bedroom of her daughter had been disturbed. Meanwhile, her son came in and reported to Officer Metz that he had found the door to the house open. The officer observed the man had a Crown Royal bag tied to his belt. Due to the practice of using these bags for illegal drug concealment, the officer questioned the young man about the bag and allegedly determined it contained a rock of crack cocaine. 29-year-old Raymond Junior Wilson II of 98 Lewis Street, Clinton, also known as “Sweet,” was then arrested and booked on a charge of “Possession of Crack Cocaine.”

A $1,000 personal recognizance bond was set. Raymond Wilson II was released to Deputy Johnson of the Sheriff’s Office, due to an active warrant.

The Sheriff’s Office booked 29-year-old Raymond Wilson Jr. of 98 Lewis Street on a charge of Stalking. The warrant on that charge alleges that on August 23rd he did on several occasions stalk, harass and threaten bodily harm to the victim through text messages.  Raymond Wilson was being held in the Johnson Detention Center this morning, pending arraignment on that charge.

His sister, 25-year-old Kawanda Latavia Wilson, also of 98 Lewis Street was arrested Monday, also on the charge of Stalking, accused of making threats by text to a victim last August 25th.
