Charges Served from Multiple Drug Arrests

The arrest of five people on drug charges Wednesday night began when Lt. Christopher Martin and Lt. Scott Franklin went to a mobile home at 16303 Highway 25 North of Ware Shoals at 9:04 pm looking for a man who was wanted for charges. That particular suspect was apparently not home, but his brother was, along with two other man and two women. Continued investigation of the location reportedly located  syringes and various drugs. A canine search of the area also allegedly alerted investigators to the presence of marijuana in a vehicle behind the mobile home.

That vehicle was towed away and impounded. In addition to methamphetamine marijuana and other narcotics reportedly seized at the scene, deputies also noted confiscating $741 in cash.
