Arrest Charges Failure to Stop 13 Months Ago

  The Sheriff Office yesterday arrested a man who allegedly failed to stop for officers in the Cross Hill area 13 months ago. 46-year-old Carlton Clay Fuller of 5025 Miller Street, Durham, North Carolina, a native of Cross Hill, was charged with Reckless Driving and with Failure to Stop for a Blue Light. Deputy Rakeisha Hill states that on November 4, 2012 one Carlton Clay Fuller drove a motor vehicle in a manner showing a willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property. This allegedly occurred on Harris Springs Road, Cross Hill. Deputy R. E. Hill further alleges that on that same date Carlton Clay Fuller failed to stop an automobile he was driving when signaled to do so by means of siren and/or flashing lights on a law enforcement vehicle.

Bonds set at $445 on the Reckless Driving charge and $10,000 on the “Failure to Stop” warrant. Carlton Clay Fuller remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning.
