The 1st Version Isn’t Always Correct

Laurens Police were dispatched to a Milliken Street residence at 5:39 last evening to investigate a Burglary. The woman of the residence said she came home to find a man standing in her yard. He indicated a woman had been inside. The resident said a $100 money order she had recently purchased was missing. The woman who had entered the residence reportedly knew of the money order. The man in the yard said the suspect female had got him to take her to the residence, saying her husband had beaten he up and she needed to leave for her safety. He said that at the time, he didn’t know she was lying to him.

The resident called police later to say she had found the money order, so she doesn’t want to prosecute the woman for illegal entry to her residence; but she does want her placed on trespass notice.
